Getting Ready at the Festive Palazzo Gaddi in Florence
The elopement day began at sunrise at the historic Tivoli Palazzo Gaddi Firenze Hotel—a venue that becomes truly magical during the holiday season. The hotel was beautifully decorated with Christmas garlands, glowing lights, and cozy elegance that made every photo feel like a scene from a European holiday romance.
The couple shared a quiet breakfast and then got ready surrounded by gilded mirrors and grand staircases. Their portraits inside the hotel captured both the intimacy of the morning and the joy of the season.

From the hotel, we took a taxi up to the scenic Piazzale Michelangelo, a location known for its breathtaking panoramic views of Florence. Though it was chilly (especially for two Floridians!), the quiet morning and crisp air made it feel like a private world set apart.
The vow exchange was emotional and heartfelt, with Florence’s iconic skyline as the perfect backdrop. Despite the cold, the warmth between them radiated through every word and glance.
Holiday Magic in the City Center
After the ceremony, we wandered through the glowing streets of Florence. The city’s historic center was dressed for the season—cobblestone streets lined with twinkling lights, Christmas trees, and charming shop windows.
To warm up, the couple stopped into Caffè Gilli, one of Florence’s most iconic cafés. With its elegant interiors and holiday cheer, it was the perfect place to slow down, sip something warm, and take in the magic of the moment. We got to chat a little and this little moment made the day so much more special.

The elopement concluded in the most romantic way possible—a horse-drawn carriage ride through the historic streets of Florence, close to the iconic Ponte Vecchio.
