November in Venice is the start of the slow season for tourism.

But it also is one of the most magical months for you to see the city with the eyes of a local and experience some of our most significant festivities. Check out this blog post to learn more about what to do in Venice in November.

November in Venice for a chic couple from the Philippines

Pia and Ralph contacted me to learn more about a shoot in Venice last Summer. Then they changed their plans, and in the Fall they contacted me again to see if I was available. The vibe of the shoot is very different when seasons change: the light was soft and a little cold.

But the elegance they brought to our day was magical, especially Pia with her beautiful white dress. They recently got engaged after many years as a couple. Living between Manila and Singapore, and eager to explore more and travel, they settled for a wedding in the Philippines but also wanted some engagement pictures in Venice.

The watertaxi was the secret ingredient of this photoshoot in Venice

We booked a watertaxi to fully enjoy the day and move around Venice with ease. Even if the water was choppy, we had fun navigating the Grand Canal, moving from Isola di San Giorgio to the Accademia bridge and the Rialto area. We said goodbye before they had to meet their parents, in town with them to celebrate their engagement.
