Spring Sunset in Venice: Perfect Light for Couples Photography
Although they arrived later than expected due to traveling by car, the long Venetian sunsets at the end of May gave us plenty of beautiful light. As a honeymoon photographer in Venice, I love capturing these magical hours when the colors shift constantly and every minute offers something unique.
Mo and Note stayed at the beautiful Hotel Nani Mocenigo Palace, a place I know very well because it used to be the main building of my University when I studied in Venice! It is now completely restored and so different from the palace I once knew. The hotel is close to Fondamenta Zattere ai Gesuati, and here we started our photoshoot.The warm, orange glow of the sunset created the perfect romantic atmosphere.
Exploring Venice: Accademia to San Marco
Despite a long day of travel, the couple fully embraced the beauty of Venice. We walked between the Accademia area and San Marco, crossing the iconic Accademia Bridge with its stunning view of the Salute Church. Even though Saint Mark’s Square was busy, it didn’t take away the magic of the moment or the intimacy of their honeymoon photoshoot in Venice.
A Fun Ending: Venetian Taxi Ride at Sunset
We concluded the session with a fun Venetian water taxi ride back to the hotel as the sun dipped below the horizon. Along the way, I shared recommendations for restaurants and must-visit spots during their short stay in Venice.
