WEDDING DAY TIMELINE
10.00 - 10.30 am
Bridal Preparation
While Elena is busy with make-up, I will capture the location, the atmosphere of the place and the moment, the dress and the little details, the getting ready with family and friends. It's an informal moment that can make space for beautiful candids. Time goes very fast at this time of the day.
10.30 - 11.30 am
Bridal Portraits
When the wedding dress is on, we can take a couple of posed images to highlight the beauty of the bridal outfit, and a few portraits with the bridal party, family and friends.
Getting to the Ceremony
11.30 - 12.00 am
Getting to the ceremony location via water taxi can be a beautiful moment to photograph, with natural interactions and the excitement in the air.
12.00 - 12.30 am
Ceremony
It is time for the civil ceremony at Palazzo Cavalli, in the heart of Venice. I will photograph the groom waiting, the bride arrival with her father, all of the guests in a natural, unobtrusive way.
At the end of the ceremony, we will take 10 minutes for portraits on the terrace of Palazzo Cavalli, with its iconic view over Rialto.
12.30 - 13.30 pm
Couple Portraits
Couple portraits in selected locations, on our way to the reception. Guests will be enjoying their own ride to the location and an aperitivo before bride and groom arrive.
13.30 - 14.15 pm
Aperitivo & Family Portraits
We'll take some time for formal group photos with your guests. This should take about 30-40 minutes.
14.15 - 16.00 pm
Reception
The reception is the time for great food and wine, but also for speeches. You can enjoy, be with family and friends, while I photograph this moment organically. I am happy to take more portraits for anyone who asks.
16.00 - 17.00 pm
Cake Cutting
Cut of the cake and end of the reception. If you wish, we can take some more couple portraits as the sun is lower in the sky, in the gardens of Venissa.
17.00 - 17.30 pm
Back to Venice
Everybody will be heading back to Venice via water taxi.
17.30 - 18.00 pm
Start of the bacaro tour
Some of the guests will start their bacaro tour, in the historical center of Venice. First stop: Vino Vero. I'll take some group portraits, then leave you to celebrate the beginning of the evening with friends.
