First stop on their honeymoon: Venice. First couple photoshoot as a married couple in Venice. Naini and Akhilesh met with me on a sweet and sunny afternoon in Piazza San Marco. The promising air of Spring was a surely magic first impression of the city. The Piazza was lively but not as packed as usual.

We planned our photoshoot for another day, and then we saw the gloomy weather report: it was going to rain everyday for a week. I was able to carve some time in the afternoon of the same day they ere scheduled to arrive in Venice.
Tired and sleepy from their three days traditional Indian wedding and a long flight from the USA, I was amazed to see how quickly they got the handle of the Venetian lifestyle. We met a bar in Piazza San Marco in front of an Aperol Spritz, and we got to know each other a little.
Venice was the first stop of a long honeymoon between Italy and Turkey
Even though they just came from three days of wedding celebrations, they were eager to dive into a new culture and a new city. Luckily they got to see the best side of Venice. We explored the San Marco area and then moved inside into the sestiere of Castello. We took some photographs at Chiesa di San Zaccaria and moved close to the area around San Giorgio dei Greci.
