Luxury Alice in Wonderland’s themed wedding in Northern Italy

 This luxury wedding in Italy was a dream come true.

As a wedding photographer and videographer in Venice and the Veneto region, this wedding was a special treat. It had all the elements of a perfect event.

Harica, the bride, had so many ideas she could hardly contain herself.

The wedding theme was clear, though: Alice in Wonderland, her favorite story. As an aspiring wedding planner, Harica decided to give space to all of her fantasies and created a magical world full of intricated luxurious florals, golden details and literary references.

An inspiring religious celebration at Praglia Abbey on the hills of Padua, Italy

Praglia Abbey on the hills of Padua is a very special religious and spiritual center

Both bride and groom are Catholics and wanted to find a unique location for their marriage. Spirituality was at the center of the first half of this celebration. The location they chose was Praglia Abbey, a Benedictine Monastery founded in 1080 and rarely used for weddings.

The priest was an old family friend, and this gave both bride and groom a special feeling.

The religious ceremony was traditional, yet very emotional and intense. They remembered Daniele’s mother, who passed when he was young, and this gave a special depth to the day.

Wedding reception at Villa Molin in Padua

A Venetian Villa wedding with a fantastic Italian garden and century-old trees

After a beautiful ceremony, Daniele and Harica took some couple pictures in the vineyards of Praglia Abbey. Then they rode on their fabulous vintage car to Villa Molin. The Veneto region is famous for its villas, and Villa Molin is no exception.

The villa is an historical building on the hills of Padua, built in 1597 and amazingly restored in 1955 after World War II. The details of the reception were inspired by Lewis Carroll‘s novel and a tea table was ready for all guests. A group of actors was ready to entertain the guests with poetry and dances. The wedding video captures the magic of the night and the beauty of Daniele and Harica’s romance.
