Sunrise in April is such a treat: the soft morning light makes everything a thousand times better.
The chilly air of Spring and the silence of Piazza San Marco are just magical. Having the place to ourselves was a gift for Chiara and Francesco, an engaged couple originally from Venice, but residents of Bologna.
“There is no way we will be able to plan an engagement photography session in Venice”
It was the end of 2021, and Chiara was planning her wedding for 2022. “We are very very busy” Chiara told me. After a couple of calls, she booked my services for her upcoming wedding in Venice, but she said she had no idea how we could fit an engagement session into their schedules.
They fell in love at Law School in Bologna, Italy, and they keep on loving each other’s company
Getting engaged was as natural as falling in love
Chiara and Francesco met while studying together at Bologna University and they share their passion for the law. The day Chiara’s best friend saw them bickering for the first time she said “You are going to marry that guy”. And she was right.
Planning the wedding means also planning your wedding poses
AS a lawyer and a restaurant manager, time is very little. But Chiara and Francesco managed to plan an engagement photography session in Venice in April, and the weather turned out to be perfect. We practiced their best poses, and talked all about the wedding planning.
“We’re not photogenic at all!” told me Chiara, worried about possible weirdness during the wedding day
