An Italian honeymoon is always a good idea and a stop in Venice essential

Ciomary and Yamir celebrated their honeymoon with a fantastic cruise touching all the most beautiful places on the Mediterranean. They had a double wedding: the first one a couple of years ago, to make their relationship official, and then a religious ceremony in their home, Puerto Rico.

It was a real, heartfelt  celebration because Ciomary and Yamir spent a lot of time apart before reuniting. Yamir worked in New Jersey, while Ciomary finished her degree in Nutrition in Puerto Rico. Once they get home after their honymoon, they’ll be officially, and finally together, living under the same roof.

The day before our meeting in Venice, they were almost ready to cancel the photoshoot

It had been raining for days, and even if the temperature was nice, they could not imagine taking good photos in this condition. But I had some experience with heavy rain: I photographed another couple on their honeymoon in Venice, in November: it was cold, there was rain and a little bit of high tide, but the photos still turned out great. Once they saw an example of what could be done,  they decided to give it a try and see what happened. We were all surprised to see that, the moment we met, the rain almost stopped. We ended up playing with puddles and pigeons, walking around the city in the most romantic quiet of the afternoon.
